The usher's purpose is to serve, primarily, the congregation and to help facilitate decency and order as well as offer practical assistence before, during and after the worship service.
As ushers...
we play a very integral role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all those that are fortunate to interact with them. Our service should exhibit a spiritual wisdom and joyful attitude that reflects our knowledge that it is a privilege to serve, and not a burden. Our individual service should attract others to our Ministry which will result in personal spiritual growth as well as membership growth for our Ministry.
